When Love Calls From the Other Room: A Healing Moment With Earl & Chamie
Some healing moments arrive quietly — hidden inside the small routines of everyday life.
This morning, while washing the cats’ bowls and preparing their breakfast, I heard a loud, clear meow echo through the house. For a moment, I paused. It sounded exactly like Chamie… but he was in my room.
Then I remembered:
the front door and my window were open.
For the first time, his little voice carried perfectly through both openings, reaching me without anything blocking it. His cry sounded so close, so sweet, and so unmistakably him.
I felt a little burst of pride.
Because I recognized my baby’s voice instantly.
That’s a bond only love can build.
Earl Steals the Spotlight (As Always)
Earlier that morning, I was setting up a lightbox to take product photos — and Earl immediately decided he wanted to be part of the photoshoot.
He climbed right into the setup with such confidence, posing like he belonged there. As if he was saying:
“Mom, you can’t take pictures without featuring me too.”
And honestly? He wasn’t wrong. Their presence is part of everything I create.
Chamie’s After-Breakfast Hugs
After breakfast, Chamie walked up to me and gently hugged me, started purring, and laid across my leg like he wanted to melt into my warmth.
A few moments later, he came back and hugged me again — followed by full cheek rubs all over my back and shoulder.
It felt like he was saying:
“Mom, I need you close this morning.”
Earl Wants His Turn Too
Not wanting to be left out, Earl gently tugged on me so he could jump onto my back. Then he laid down across it — relaxed, trusting, and completely comfortable — until I moved to the bed.
Both boys were so sweet, so expressive, and so full of love… it almost didn’t feel real. It felt magical.
Why These Moments Matter
Moments like these remind me why I’m building KitTEASe Creations — why I dream of a sanctuary, emotional tools, healing spaces, art, jewelry, and a life full of compassion.
Animals teach us how to love.
They ground us.
They remind us how to feel.
They help us heal in ways nothing else can.
Healing doesn’t always arrive through grand gestures.
Sometimes it’s:
• the sound of your baby’s voice calling from another room
• the warmth of a cat hugging your leg
• a gentle cheek rub
• or a playful moment where both of your boys want to be part of your day
These small, everyday miracles are the heartbeat of my mission.
This morning, my boys reminded me again:
healing is real, and love is always calling — sometimes literally.
Thank you for reading this moment of my life.
I hope it brings you the same warmth it brought me. 🤍🐾
