A Small Update on the Interactive Cat Toy Journey

One of the questions I get asked most often is, "How is the toy coming along?"

The answer is: slowly, carefully, and with a lot of love.

This project started because of my own cats, Earl and Chamie. Like many cat parents, I wanted more ways to keep them mentally stimulated, physically active, and connected to me throughout the day. I also began thinking about the people who are busy, traveling, disabled, or unable to be with their cats as often as they would like.

That simple thought eventually grew into an idea:

What if you could play with your cat from anywhere, anytime?

Since then, the journey has involved countless hours of research, planning, learning, revising, and testing. Turning an idea into a real product is rarely a straight path, and there have been many moments of trial and error along the way.

Today, I am excited to share that significant progress has been made on the prototype. The foundation is there, and seeing something that once existed only in my imagination begin to take shape has been incredibly rewarding.

There is still work to be done before it is ready for broader testing. The remaining pieces are actively being developed, and each step brings us closer to the vision I originally had when this journey began.

For now, I am focusing on refining the experience, gathering feedback, and making sure every decision serves the cats first.
